Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Attunia — the attunia.care website and practitioner portal, and the Attunia Desktop application. By creating an account or using Attunia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Attunia.

What Attunia is

Attunia is a voice-first clinical assistant: a desktop application that runs on your own computer, supported by this website and an optional practitioner portal. Attunia is currently offered as a closed beta, free of charge. It is a productivity tool — it does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice, and it is not a medical device.

Eligibility

Attunia is intended for qualified or licensed mental-health professionals and their authorized staff. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for using Attunia in compliance with the laws and the professional and ethical obligations that apply to you.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at support@attunia.care.

Your data and your clients

You are responsible for the information you enter into Attunia and for having a lawful basis to process your clients’ personal data. As between you and Attunia, you are the data controller for your clients’ data and are responsible for meeting your obligations under applicable law (including the GDPR). Attunia stores this data locally on your device; you are responsible for securing your device and for keeping your own backups. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Attunia. In particular, do not use it for any unlawful purpose, attempt to breach or probe its security, interfere with its operation, or reverse engineer it except to the extent permitted by law.

Third-party services

Optional features such as Google Calendar synchronization rely on third-party services governed by their own terms and policies. Your use of those integrations is at your discretion and subject to those third parties’ terms.

Beta, availability, and “as is”

Attunia is provided during beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change or be discontinued, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Voice and assistant features may produce inaccurate results — always review their output before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attunia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. You remain responsible for maintaining backups of your clinical data.

Intellectual property

Attunia and its software, content, and trademarks are owned by Attunia and its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the application for its intended purpose. The clinical data you create remains yours.

Termination

You may stop using Attunia and delete the application and your local data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
